Extremely fruit-forward and sincere. Peach nectar precedes a honey sweet earthy chocolate, earth, and prune flavors predominate. As the cup cools an extended flavor of grape, lime and nectarine become more noticeable. Fresh light floral aromatics lend to hints of lavender and sweet bread. The overall mouth feel is bright and well balanced between ample acidity and complementing tannins. A crisp finish of cacao, nectarine and walnut frame the experience. Rwandan coffees rank with the best of Kenyan and Ugandan production. A Classic African complexity with lots of power will satisfy even the most discerning palette. Medium “City” roast brings out this beans best.
